Profile Information

My Artistic Interests
My main interest is landscape photography including waterfalls and stream and river shots. The connection with nature's beauty through these subjects is both emotional and stimulating.
Artist Statement
I am currently an accountant who loves photography. I am trying to access the market and am currently building a stock photo library. My favorite subjects are waterfalls and stream-oriented views, but I will not pass up a great landscape opportunity. I also strive for that less than common shot, the one that is unique and not normally viewed by others. When this is not possible, I try to add my own touch to make the photo more distinguishable from other pictures that have been taken of the same view. I enjoy hiking and find innumerable photo opportunities along the trails throughout the Selway-Bitterroot wilderness and adjacent areas.
I am currently trying to market my work and find forums to display my work and gain recognition. Recently, the state of Montana chose one of my photos for the cover of a manual distributed to law enforcement agencies statewide.

Roughly. I'd just use a watch and buy a cheap release on ebay for like 10 bucks.

Oh, you probably want a cable release that you can hold on when you shoot in bulb function. Out here unless there are lights in the scene you're shooting you're going to be having some pretty long exposures(2-15+minutes depending on ISO and light available. Best luck is under full moon, but works pretty much anywhere if you leave the shutter open long enough.

Yeah the site has been quite. I haven't had much time over the past 6 months to stir up much trouble. But you can. Just keep plugging away. Right now because of my job I am only home a couple days a week and I don't have computer access except by Blackberry which is OK for simple emails. You can always email me directly if you want. davideubank@bresnan.net That way I can get back to you faster. Like your work and hope to get more action going this winter. Thanks for joining
